Some mechanization has been applied in these sectors in Bulgaria, but they have been poorly automated. The challenges for the labor market in the current difficult year were also discussed. Participants at the event - representatives of employers, trade unions and companies in the sector - discussed the expected changes in the woodworking sector. They mainly refer to the need to promote greener technologies, the reuse of materials and the reworking of used products in order to achieve a circular effect. Last but not least, the new skills that employers and employees need to prepare and promote in order to bring about a gradual change in the logging and woodworking sectors were also discussed.
