Good Wood Project, the first national training seminar in Confapi

The first national training seminar of the Good Wood project, of which Confapi is the leader, took place on 26 June at Confapi.

The theme of the seminar was an overview of the models of guidance and accompaniment activities in order to improve the employability of individuals and the enhancement of learning and skills otherwise acquired. The event saw the participation of representatives of companies, trade unions and project partners.

The day began with greetings from the President of Unital Riccardo Montesi and the intervention of the President of Fapi, Luca Sanlorenzo, who illustrated the activity of the bilateral body for professional training. Subsequently Maurizio Mosca, a Confapi expert, explored the issue of enhancing the learning and skills acquired and certified in relation to employability in the EU. Representatives of the trade unions also contributed to the training day with a series of speeches on their role in promoting training in the era of the green economy. In the afternoon, Flavio Bonardi, Confapi project officer, spoke on the subject of secondary vocational education and vocational training. The Good Wood project includes three further national training seminars with a focus on the wood sector and the challenges it faces, in the other partner countries, Bulgaria and Portugal respectively.
