Confapi won a project co-financed by the European Union on the social dialogue in the wood sector. The development of the green economy is an important challenge for European social dialogue considering the role and future evolution of relations between trade unions, employers' organizations, institutions and civil society. With this in mind, the Good Wood project intends to fully encourage the strengthening of social dialogue with a view to reorganizing production in the wood-furniture sector, moving towards a sustainable economy in the labor market. In line with the objectives set by the EU, the project aims to train and inform the actors involved, paying attention to new technologies for the production of products and to the requalification of professionals in the wood-furniture sector.
