The third national training seminar within the European project Good Wood was organized by Confapi with Fillea-Cgil entitled 'Training as a tool to promote change in organization, production and the business management of companies in the wood sector " and was held on line on Zoom. The project sees Confapi as a leader within a partnership that includes three other countries, Belgium, Portugal and Bulgaria.

Representatives of companies, delegates of  trade unions and project partners  partecipated actively to the seminar which was an opportunity to raise the awareness of employers and entrepreneurs on the issues of the circular economy and sustainable development.

Confapi presented the project and its objectives.

The Guglielmo Tagliacarne institute presented the results of the research activity conducted during the project and offered an overview of the European transition strategy towards a green economy with a focus on the European Commission's New Green Deal.

The final panels of the seminar were characterized by a reflection on European opportunities for social dialogue, an overview of the role of trade unions in promoting training in the era of the green economy, and the prospects that the project has offered and will be able to offer.
