Confapi hosts the second national seminar
On the occasion of the General Council of Filca Cisl Lazio, which took place in Rome on December 9th, was organized the second national training seminar of the European Good Wood project, of which Confapi is the leader, entitled "Good Wood: the first results of research and comparison between social partners on environmental sustainability models in the wood sector ". The initiative saw the participation of representatives of companies, trade unions and project partners and was an opportunity to sensitize the social partners on the importance of encouraging the implementation of production processes in the awareness that the linear economy of "produce , consume, throw ”is no longer viable. In fact, a new paradigm is taking root, namely that of “produce, consume, recover” also known as the circular economy. The training course had the objective of analyzing what the EU proposes in the field of social dialogue in order to highlight the importance of investing in activities of the so-called "green economy", also for the benefit of workers and employment. During the seminar was also illustred a good practice of circular economy with the presentation of the case study of Panetti Costruzioni, a company that produces glasses with frames in olive and other precious woods, such as rosewood and ebony, with coffee grounds, and which currently exports all over the world.
