The Good Wood project restarts
On 16 July, a meeting was held between the partners of the Good Wood project, of which Confapi is the lead partner. The meeting was an opportunity to define the status of the activities and evaluate the methods of subsequent planned initiatives, in compliance with the directives that the European Commission has indicated following the health emergency. The partners discussed the date and organization of the next transnational training seminar - scheduled in Sofia in October - proposing, in the event of a prolonged emergency, the implementation in webinar mode. They also agreed to organize the national appointment online for September to be held in each of the countries of origin of the partner subjects. During the next seminars will be presented the research on the wood sector produced within the project. A study focused on the role of social dialogue in contemporary economies, which must face the challenges of greening and digitization, with a particular focus on the wood sector and the circular economy. The research will also provide a collection of documents on the policies of interest of the social partners and will provide opportunities to share the best practices of social partners involved in the field of social dialogue.
